My Opinion About PersonalClips:
There are a lot of amateur style sites out there, but often I find that these types of sites are more reality-driven. However, if you look around enough, then you'll find completely candid sites like Personal Clips who rely on members to send in their own sex tapes. If this concept isn't the epitome of amateur, then I really don't know what would be.
PersonalClips actually has a lot more inside the members' area than I'd anticipated. It's neatly organized, and it seems as if this is more like a community than anything else, and you get your own private email so that you can meet others. Of course, there are also photos and videos and you can sure as hell bet that all of them are exclusive.
There are eight movie categories, and I really didn't expect the site to be as organized as it turned out to be. There are also 15 photo sections. As you can imagine, practically anything goes on this site and whether you merely want to see some masturbation content or prefer cream pies, orgies, wife fucks, handjobs, anal or bisexual, there's a little of everything, except for trannies. There's little beyond hetero action except when it comes to lesbians.
I didn't expect the best of filmmaking, so my expectations for quality were never that high, which made being disappointed a little impossible. There are currently 211 full-length movies and a total of 2249 scenes. I'm not exactly sure how often the site updates, but there are incentives for members to submit their kinky sex lives and I imagine there must be at least one new video scene every week. Clips appear to be anywhere from two- to six-minutes and, as far as I can tell, many of them are around 960Kbps 320x240 .wmv files, but it really does vary from clip to clip. Expect mostly stationary or POV cams with all sorts of sex, but don't expect to see any of those incredible and clear close-ups that you'd find in films where people know how to use a camera and shoot porn.
The photos, which are generally around 640x422 pixels, aren't that bad. You can tell that either a lash or single light source is used, and yet they're fairly clear and you'll discover a lot more close-ups of cock pushing into mouths, pussy or ass and certainly you'll see a whole load of natural, hairy twats spread wide for the camera. These are all single photos and there are an estimated 2500 shots of everything from wide asses to pantyhose fetish.

Final Verdict:
I can't say that I am personally all that fond of the ultra-amateur style of homemade videos, but I do love the thought that these are real couples who are sexually adventuring and showing us their very own sex lives. The movies are really hit and miss, and while some couples give us a hell of a sizzling sex ride, others put at least me to sleep.
